About me
I am a dynamic and versatile aerialist and physical performer, specialising in cloud swing, devised performance and comedy. Since graduating from Circomedia in 2010, where I trained under Bim Mason and Mike Wright, I have performed with NoFit State Circus in their large-scale outdoor project, Parklife, and I am currently performing in their spectacular open-air show, Barricade, directed by Orit Azaz, which is touring the UK and France in 2011 and 2012. I have worked with the immersive theatre company, the Stand and Stare Collective, on their two site-specific promenade shows, Stand and Stare (2009, directed by Rob Tannion and Greg Banks) and SS Arcadia (2010, directed by Rob Tannion). I am also the co-founder of the physical theatre company, Jilted Pig, who make walkabout and installation work for the outdoors. Our current show, the Poste de Resistance, is an innovative, interactive and immersive performance staged in the back of a van. It was commissioned by Bristol City Council and Desperate Men, and was recently performed at Kendal Mintfest. We hope to tour with this show in summer 2012.

'As Alice Ellerby swung majestically back and forth to the beautiful sounds of Sigur Ros, there were audible gasps from the audience when she let go of the swing only to catch it a split second later.'
